Urgent Need: Fire in Bihar

IMRC Volunteers are onsite to provide relief for fire in Bihar. They urgently need bedding, blankets, medicine and cleaning supplies. Cooked meals and clean water are provided by the locals. They still will need meals throughout the days and weeks ahead. Food grain kits including cooking materials are needed too.

$100 will assist a family of 6 for one month.

($60 for bedding items / $40 food grain kit & cooking supplies)

Our team is on the ground providing relief kits to the impacted.

Phase 1: Immediate Assistance (Ongoing)

We have started distributing emergency food kits.
100 food kits have already been given to impacted families.These kits are helping to meet their basic needs during this critical time.
Each kit includes essential groceries and supplies. Staple items such as rice, lentils, cooking oil and other non-perishable foods. Additionally, we are also including soaps and other hygiene products to help families maintain their well-being.

Phase 2: Rehabilitation & long-term support

Our team would also be conducting a complete survey to assess the total damage to lives, homes and livelihood.
Accordingly we will plan for long-term support and rebuilding efforts.
